The Flat Classroom Project is a project that is consisted of two major components. The first one is the wiki editing. It’s a collaborative group wiki that ties students throughout the world in separate countries as Canada, United States of America, Mexico, and Singapore to contact each other and also express their own individual thoughts about the topic they’ve been assigned to them from the book The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-First Century an international best-selling book by Thomas Friedman. This first project is mostly about your initiative role as a researcher, and research about emerging trends and technologies that will continue to flatten the world. The second one is the video. It’s an individual submission that each student is responsible to submit for judging from the judges. It will be consisted on the specific category on the video that individuals are assigned and will eventually be incorporated toward their group to result into one final submission that will be assigned a position in the current standings of their video category and finally the total outcome of the best impression. This second project is mostly about your role initiative role as a compelling storyteller, and compose a video that will express a interpretation on the flatten world in their perspective in a digital story format.
